Ruth trained in massage in 2009 and has qualifications in sports massage therapy, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release techniques and reflexology. Ruth draws on all aspects of her training to provide tailor made treatments to best suit clients individual needs. In addition, Ruth’s background in dance undoubtedly influences her massage practice and her understanding of injuries, posture and effective body maintenance.
Ruth has considerable experience of working with a broad range of clients including sports people, dancers, health professionals, older adults and people experiencing stress related conditions. She has worked in several London based charities including Hoxton Health, Stress Project Islington, Hands inc Hackney and also within the NHS working with staff members as part of a staff wellbeing enterprise.
