That’s not to say I don’t adopt a comprehensive approach. Using a combination of McTimoney Chiropractic, Emmett Technique and the additional option of Hanna Somatic Exercises, I deliver a safe and effective programme to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
McTimoney ChiropracticA McTimoney chiropractor uses only their hands to locate and gently align the bones and joints of the spine, pelvis, cranium and extremities. My approach uses minimal force and is very comfortable and relaxing to receive. My aim is to restore full, pain-free movement, so you can feel comfortable in your body again.

Emmett TechniqueDeveloped by Ross Emmett, this technique quickly eases tension in the muscles and surrounding tissues, restoring movement and function. Light pressure is applied to specific points on the body, sometimes combined with a gentle switching action, often producing instant results.
The Emmett technique can have a profound effect and benefits include enhanced freedom of movement, rapid pain relief and greater stability.
Hanna Somatic MovementThomas Hanna developed his purely physical approach to somatics into a series of elementary exercises. These are not intended to strengthen or stretch the muscles, but to re-educate them to release unconscious patterns of tension, bringing your physical body back into conscious control.
Learning Hanna somatic exercises means fewer visits to the chiropractor, because you can identify and release tension in your body in just a few minutes. Imagine being able to move freely and gracefully, with no pain, with greater control, at any age. This is what you can achieve by practicing Hanna Somatic Movement.
The exercises are performed on the floor (or a chair), are not physically strenuous, and no special equipment is required. Soft, comfortable clothing is all that you are required to bring. Classes are for individuals, or pairs, so come with a friend if you wish!
