Carolyn Watts - Couples Counselling & Therapy
Relationship support for couples: nurturing communication, curiosity and compassion
As a specialist in couple relationships, I work with couples at all ages and stages. My consulting room is a calm and supportive space for discussion.
Couples come to see me for many reasons. Some focus on specific challenges such as illness or infidelity. Other couples have drifted apart after becoming parents, or feel stuck in cycles of misunderstanding, blame and withdrawal. Couples planning marriage sometimes ask for a kind of couple's MOT.
Partners also ask for help during fertility treatment. Although I am not a specialist fertility counsellor, I can support you on this journey.
If your physical relationship has waned I can help you talk and reconnect emotionally. If appropriate I may refer you to specialist psychosexual counselling.
Whatever your concerns, my aim is to help you understand what goes wrong and then find ways of coping more fruitfully. Communication, curiosity and compassion lie at the heart of that process — and are the key to much of couple life.
