About
Kelly began her therapeutic career in 1994 as a Massage Therapist before graduating from the University College of Osteopathy in 2001 and went on to complete a 2 -year post graduate training in Paediatric Osteopathy. In 2020, Kelly became certified as a Life Coach, CBT and NLP practioner.
AboutAlthough Kelly has specialist paediatric training and is highly experienced in the Cranial Osteopathic Approach - she continues to enjoy running a general practice combining Structural, Visceral and Cranial Osteopathic Techniques, alongside massage to treat a wide range of health issues - from post-surgical rehabilitation, sporting injuries, paediatric complaints, to general and stress related conditions.
Kelly's unique approach to the treatment of mechanical complaints, combines Osteopathy, with Life Coaching, CBT and NLP techniques to offer a holistic Mind-Body approach. Her coaching style allows her to incorporate an additional layer of support, aiming to facilitate resolution of a range of psycho-emotional factors which contribute to the exacerbating the physical symptom picture and presence of stress.
Kelly's interest in esoteric healing practices has taken her on a 20 year exploration of Meditation Approaches in the UK and abroad. Her further training in Lifecoaching, Counselling, CBT and NLP are an expression of her long interest in the relationship between mind and body - expanding her capacity to facilitate long lasting healing.
The Cranial Osteopathic approach is suitable for people of all ages. For babies and young children, this subtle technique is used to counter tension resulting from mechanical strain during pregnancy and childbirth. Kelly will gently adjust the tissue balance to a more harmonious state, generally soothing and relaxing your baby. In adults, this approach is used to release deeply held patterns of stress, strain and tension. It can be used in tandem with the more traditional structural Osteopathic Techniques.
